At The Black Dove Studio, we are passionate about bringing creativity and mindfulness to the community. This space is designed to provide a supportive and inclusive environment for students of all backgrounds and skill levels in their journey of self expression.
Welcome
Hi, I’m Sharon, owner and instructor here at the studio. A local writer, artist, Usui Reiki master, and mystic mama. I created this space not only as my own creative playground, but to share with others the joy of creating when you lose the fear of doing it wrong.
My true passion is writing, but helping people find their voice, their passions, their sense of self, and quality of life through art, journaling and mindfulness practices, is a gift. It took me a long time to find my voice, to not be afraid to share who I was, and I am happy to provide a space for others to pursue their dreams by offering my time, my space and a no judgement zone community. My playground is yours.

Shadow Alchemists: Honor the dark mystery of Samhain and All Hallow's Eve by leaning into your own shadow. We'll start with a gentle 4.20 plant medicine yoga flow to ground, strengthen, and protect the physical body.
After yoga, we'll sesh with friends and honor the shadow body by designing and creating a custom shadow work journal: journ
Shadow Alchemists: Honor the dark mystery of Samhain and All Hallow's Eve by leaning into your own shadow. We'll start with a gentle 4.20 plant medicine yoga flow to ground, strengthen, and protect the physical body.
After yoga, we'll sesh with friends and honor the shadow body by designing and creating a custom shadow work journal: journals, decorative materials, and shadow work prompts will be provided. As the Samhain season flows on and the veil between worlds grows thin, use your customized journal as a sacred space for reflection and release.
For those who feel called, optional tarot readings will offer insight and guidance for the season ahead. Whether you're new to shadow work, or a veteran shadow alchemist, you'll find community here.
