The Black Dove Studio is evolving.
What began as a physical space for healing, creativity, and connection is now expanding beyond four walls—into something more accessible, more flexible, and more aligned with real life.
You can now work with me from anywhere through guided journaling programs, somatic practices, and self-led experiences designed to meet you exactly where you are.
I am facilitating, teaching, and traveling for workshops, events, and collaborations.

Journaling is at the heart of Sharon’s practice—a sacred space for self-reflection, intention, and emotional clarity. Through mindful writing, participants learn to listen deeply to their inner voice, transforming thoughts and feelings into insight and inspiration.
Art and journaling intertwine as a form of mindfulness—inviting presence, compassion, and authentic expression. Sharon’s gentle guidance creates a nurturing space where participants can slow down, breathe, and reconnect with their creative essence.
Rooted in compassion and authenticity, Sharon’s work encourages others to honor their process, trust their intuition, and rediscover the quiet joy that lives within every creative act.
I’m Sharon, the voice behind The Black Dove Studio. Artist, writer, and mindfulness guide, also known as, " The Journal Lady."
I teach people how to get out of their heads and into their lives—through journaling, somatic awareness, and creative self-expression.
This work isn’t about fixing you, it's about coming home to yourself.
It’s about giving you tools to understand yourself, trust yourself, and move forward with clarity.
Everything I offer is built from lived experience, deep study, and a commitment to keeping it real, practical, and accessible.
Whether you’re starting your own journey or looking to bring this work into your community, I’d love to hear from you.
My work extends beyond individual programs into group spaces, education, and community.
I offer workshops, speaking, and guided experiences for:
– Youth Programs
– College Students
– Corporate & Business Teams
– Recovery Communities
Each experience is built around journaling, nervous system awareness, and real-life tools for self-regulation, clarity, and personal responsibility.
